ElevenLabs, a company specializing in artificial intelligence technology for voice generation, raised $500 million in a Series D round led by venture capital firm Sequoia Capital.
Among the investors were renowned funds Andreessen Horowitz and Iconiq. According to the Wall Street Journal, citing co-founder and CEO Mati Staniszewski, the startup’s valuation rose to $11 billion after this round, more than tripling from 2022. In total, ElevenLabs has already raised about $800 million in investments.
Founded in 2022, ElevenLabs specializes in voice AI and conversational audio. The startup has signed voice licensing agreements with famous stars, including Michael Caine, Liza Minnelli, and Matthew McConaughey. Notably, McConaughey uses ElevenLabs tools to translate his voice into Spanish.
The startup’s customers include Deutsche Telekom, which uses voice agents for customer service, and Deliveroo, which implements technology for improving courier adaptation. In November 2025, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine began a partnership with ElevenLabs to integrate voice technology into government services.
