Russians are looking for ways to activate Starlink, the Ministry of Defense has considered all risks – Flash

Ukraine and SpaceX continue to block the use of Starlink on Russian drones

According to the advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Serhii Bescresnov, Russians are trying to activate blocked Starlink terminals at the front, but their attempts are trivial and ineffective.

Bescresnov reported that the enemy is searching for ways to activate Starlink, discussing their ideas in groups that later appear in Ukrainian publications. According to him, the occupiers are considering options that include entering service centers on a paid basis, using fictitious companies, or removing a terminal from a trophy drone. The advisor emphasized that all these attempts will be blocked.

He also warned those hoping to make “easy money” from these attempts, emphasizing that such actions will lead to serious legal consequences. “It’s not just abandoning a car and running away, it’s actually documenting your offense for the court,” noted Bescresnov.

The cooperation between Ukraine and SpaceX in this direction has been ongoing since the end of January, when the Ministry of Defense announced joint efforts to solve the issue of Starlink usage on Russian drones. After that, on February 1, it became known that terminal verification was ongoing and some are already functioning in the “white list.”
