According to preliminary information, Ukraine struck an oil depot in the Saratov region of Russia – General Staff

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck strategic targets in Russia and occupied territories

On February 6 and the night of February 7, Ukrainian forces attacked an oil depot in Russia’s Saratov region and carried out strikes on military targets in temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command.

According to preliminary information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the strikes were carried out on the “Balashovo” oil depot, located more than 400 kilometers from territory controlled by Ukrainian forces. This attack was part of broader actions by the Ukrainian army aimed at weakening the enemy’s potential.

Among other targets attacked by the defense forces were:

• A drone control center and personnel concentration in the area of Rovnopol in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.
• The location of a repair unit in the area of Yalta on temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.
• A drone control center and a multiple rocket launch system in the area of Poltavka near Nikolaevka.
• Enemy personnel concentration near the village of Dronovka in Russia’s Belgorod region.

The General Staff reported that enemy losses and the scale of the damage inflicted are being clarified. Meanwhile, analysts from Deepstate recorded the advancement of Russian occupation forces north of the village of Dronovka towards the Ukrainian settlement of Hrabovske.

Earlier, a representative of the SBU, in an interview with LIGA.net, reported a strike on a chemical plant in Russia’s Tver region, which produces components for cruise missile fuel. These attacks have a significant impact on Russia’s military potential and allow Ukraine to strengthen its positions in the region.
