Ukrainian company Vyriy Industries launches a training project for drone operators
The company Vyriy Industries announced the launch of the Vyriy Aero School training project, which integrates partner schools and training centers to prepare drone operators.
The Vyriy Aero School project aims to improve the training of drone operators through a “Train-the-Trainer” system, where instructors train future trainers. Under the new scheme, the Vyriy team trains instructors of training centers and partner schools, who then independently conduct operator training. This allows for the rapid preparation of a larger number of crews without distracting active crews from their tasks.
The training process involves a crew ordering a complex, the company manager directing them to one of the partner centers, and certified instructors conducting the training, after which the crew receives the drone complexes for task execution. The course cost is already included in the complex’s price when ordering.
The training is divided into two formats: basic training lasting one to two weeks with theoretical and practical modules, and a transition to the platform from other wings, taking four to five days and focusing on practice. Training begins with the Sokil reconnaissance drone, but there are plans to integrate courses for other platforms such as the UAV Veresen and Blyskavka.
Vyriy Industries is known as a Ukrainian technology company specializing in autonomous systems for modern combat, particularly in reconnaissance, secure communication, and combined strike. It collaborates with over 200 units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
It is also worth noting that at the end of February 2026, the founder of Vyriy, Oleksiy Babenko, became the majority owner of the publication “Babel,” buying 75% of shares from a Slovak company.
