Why Does the Third Army Corps Need the AB3.Tech Platform: Blitz Interview

Former Combat Medic Heads AB3.Tech Defense Technology Platform

Victoria Goncharuk, a former combat medic of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, has become the new head of the defense technology platform AB3.Tech and announced the launch of a cluster for collaboration between the military and protective solutions manufacturers.

According to its CEO Victoria Goncharuk, AB3.Tech is a platform created on the initiative of the Third Army Corps for systematic interaction between military units and defense technology developers. The cluster aims to provide manufacturers with the opportunity to directly cooperate with the military, adapt products to combat conditions, and scale technologies.

Goncharuk explains that current interactions between developers and the military are often informal and based on occasional feedback, but the AB3.Tech cluster aims to make this process more structured. Cluster participants will have access to evaluation and analytics methodologies, allowing the military to formulate technological requests and manufacturers to adapt their solutions faster.

The criteria for selecting cluster participants will be based on the potential value of products for the military rather than the size of the company. Companies should be ready to integrate feedback and continuously adapt their solutions. The first technological challenge will start in July-August 2026.

In 2026, AB3.Tech plans to develop a defense technology ecosystem aimed at expanding partnerships, implementing testing, and integrating solutions. This model of work resembles the Defense Innovation Unit in the USA but is adapted to the realities of the war in Ukraine. The main directions include scaling existing innovations and attracting investors and partners to develop the ecosystem.

2026 Plan Description
Development of Ecosystem Creating an innovative platform around the Third Corps
Partnerships Expanding the network with technology manufacturers
Testing and Integration Developing mechanisms for solution implementation
Scaling Innovations Promoting existing innovations
Investment Attraction Seeking investors and international partners
