Units of the “Drone Lines” will have the opportunity to purchase UAVs through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.

Units of Ukraine’s “Drone Line” will be able to order drones through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, significantly simplifying the supply process to the front line. Within two weeks of implementing the system, orders worth over 184 million UAH have been received, and the first deliveries totaling 40.8 million UAH have been made to the frontline.

The system, created by the Ministry of Defense, simplifies the process of supplying military units with modern drones and other specialized equipment. An independent budget has been allocated for the “Drone Line” in the new system, allowing for weapon procurement under the motivational model “Army of Drones. Bonus”. The system awards points for enemy hits or accomplishing combat missions, which can be exchanged for the necessary equipment, providing a more dynamic budget volume to each unit.

The Defence Procurement Agency (DOT), which develops and manages the system, ensures the entire procurement process: from registering manufacturers to making payments and logistics. Through the DOT-Chain Defence platform, more than 160 contracts with Ukrainian companies and approximately 600 equipment models are currently available.

Since June 2025, the “Drone Line” has operated as part of the Unmanned Systems Group under the leadership of Major Robert Brovdi. The project includes 12 units, including “Birds of Madyar”, “K-2”, “Steppe Predators”, “ACHILLES”, “Phoenix” of the State Border Service. Their primary goal is to create a destruction zone to a depth of 10–15 km to protect infantry and eliminate the enemy.

Recall that at the end of April, the Defence Procurement Agency launched a new mechanism for advancing manufacturers, allowing the acceleration of the production and supply of drones. Previously, the DOT-Chain Defence platform used a post-payment model, but now advances are available for manufacturers with a good reputation.
