Ukrainian manufacturer of electronic warfare systems Unwave will invest 2 million UAH in establishing a training center together with Dragon Sky school.

The Ukrainian company Unwave and the Dragon Sky pilot school will open a training center in 2026.

The company Unwave has announced plans to jointly launch a training center with Dragon Sky, which will begin operations in September 2026.

This center will be designed for the training of electronic warfare (EW) operators and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crews of various types. During a speech at the Unwave 3rd Anniversary Demo Day event, Unwave’s CEO Taras Bublyk stated that 2 million UAH would be invested in the project, and the monthly maintenance costs would amount to 600,000 UAH. It is expected that the center will be able to simultaneously train 10 EW operators and 10 UAV crews.

Unwave, founded in 2023, specializes in the development of technologies in the field of electronic warfare and reconnaissance. Their product line includes innovative systems such as Veeha, Terrikon-X, and the Steppe Wind complex. The company has also received a license from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to manufacture interceptor drones Octopus.

Dragon Sky, launched in 2023, is a UAV training and research center that specializes in training drone operators, engineers, and aerial reconnaissance experts. The center operates with the support of the Department of Aviation Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other state institutions.

Experts note that the launch of the training center will contribute to enhancing the level of professional training for specialists in the field of electronic and unmanned technologies, which is particularly relevant against the backdrop of increasing national security requirements.
