The Ukrainian government allocates 1 billion UAH for the recovery of affected frontline regions

Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko announced the allocation of 1 billion hryvnias for the restoration of infrastructure in the frontline regions of Ukraine that have suffered the most damage from shelling.

The new funds will be directed to five key tasks, including the construction and arrangement of shelters. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine at a briefing. The decision concerns 93 communities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions, which have suffered the most damage as a result of shelling.

Svyrydenko clarified that in addition to the construction of shelters, funding will be allocated for the additional protection of key equipment, emergency rescue operations, repair of engineering networks, and the creation of fuel reserves. She noted that despite the enemy’s night strikes, the primary task remains to provide Ukrainian families with electricity, gas, and heat.

In the context of the anti-terrorist operation “Midas,” the Prime Minister said that the government has initiated an audit of all state companies, including energy ones. This decision is part of the Cabinet of Ministers’ efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency in the operation of state enterprises.

Recently, the Russian army continued attacks on civilians, including the shelling of the Borivska community in the Kharkiv region on November 13, which resulted in the death of three people and injury to another resident.
