Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces successfully neutralized two missiles and over 90 drones

During the night of November 15, Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized two out of three “Kinzhal” missiles and 91 unmanned aerial vehicles aimed at various regions of the country.

On the night of November 15, Russian military forces launched a large-scale missile-drone attack on Ukrainian territory, as reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 7:00 PM on November 14, the aggressor forces launched three Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles from the airspace of the Tambov region, as well as 135 drones, among which approximately 80 were “Shahed” drones.

Thanks to the coordinated work of Ukraine’s air defense forces, two missiles and 91 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the north, south, and east of the country. There were recorded impacts from one missile and 41 strike drones at 13 different locations, as well as debris from downed vehicles falling at four locations.

The Air Force Command noted that the air attack from Russia continues, and several enemy drones are still present in Ukrainian airspace. This attack is part of a larger offensive in which Russia used 19 missiles and 430 unmanned vehicles. Among the affected sites are Kyiv and its region, including damage to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the capital, prompting the summoning of the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
