Ukrainian intelligence has neutralized the elements of the occupiers’ air defense in Donbas
Ukrainian intelligence has successfully struck the air defense systems of Russian forces in the occupied Donbas. This significantly reduces the occupiers’ ability to control the region’s airspace.
On November 29, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR) struck significant elements of Russian air defense. According to HUR, radars and launchers of anti-aircraft missile systems in the occupied zone in the Donetsk region were attacked using department of active actions drones. As a result of the strike, the 9A83 launcher from the S-300V SAM and two 1L125 “Niobium-SV” radar stations were destroyed.
Following these strikes, the capabilities of Russian forces to control the airspace over Donbas have significantly decreased, creating conditions for new air operations by Ukrainian defense. It is important to note that such operations have strategic importance, as they undermine the basis of Russian defense in the region.
Earlier, on November 15, intelligence reported significant losses of Russian forces from Magura sea drones, and on December 1, successful sabotage actions with the destruction of vehicles and the elimination of five occupiers in Berdyansk were carried out jointly with local partisans.
