Grammarly transforms into Superhuman: how it will affect the Ukrainian team — interview with Volodymyr Lysiuk, head of the office in Ukraine

The company Grammarly, founded by Ukrainians, rebranded and changed its name to Superhuman in October 2025. The update is accompanied by a change in strategy with a focus on the development of AI agents, including by Ukrainian specialists.

Volodymyr Lysiuk, head of the Ukrainian hub and engineering teams at Superhuman, spoke about the changes in the company and their impact on the Ukrainian structure. In particular, he noted that the company continues to expand the team, which currently numbers about 150 people in Ukraine. The main goal of the rebranding is to reflect the new vision of the company, which is working on significantly expanding its product line, including the implementation of artificial intelligence.

Despite the changes in name and strategy, Lysiuk confirmed that the work of the Ukrainian team continues without significant changes. Ukrainian engineers are actively engaged in the development of AI agents, such as connector agents for integrating work tools, agents for effective text work, and partner solutions based on the book “Radical Candor.” This allows Superhuman to significantly increase productivity and provide a new level of user interaction with the company’s products.

From the standpoint of security and operational stability, the company is taking measures to support employees during the crisis, in particular by providing backup batteries and funds for preparing for the winter season. Despite challenges, such as the inaccessibility of the Kyiv hub in the Gulliver business center, the company continues to ensure remote work and reimburses costs for coworking spaces.

It is expected that in the next year, the Ukrainian team will continue to work on the development of AI agents and the expansion of the product capabilities of the Superhuman Suite, as well as expand the team with new specialists in programming and customer service.
