Zelensky: Staff changes in the President’s Office may happen later
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated during a meeting with the “Servant of the People” faction that staff changes in his Office are possible, but they may happen later. This information came from a source at LIGA.net.
It was reported that during the meeting, Zelensky discussed the issue of the resignation of the Head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, noting that staffing matters are his responsibility. However, according to the source, the direct question of Yermak’s resignation was not highlighted. Zelensky emphasized the importance of this issue but did not provide further comments on it.
Earlier, “Ukrainska Pravda,” citing an anonymous participant in the meeting, claimed that the president made it clear that Yermak’s resignation was not planned. However, this claim was not confirmed by another source.
MP Yelyzaveta Yasko added that Zelensky discussed possible staffing decisions he would make in the near future. The president himself stated in his evening address that the wartime parliament must be effective, but he did not disclose the details of the decisions.
In recent days, media speculated about Yermak’s resignation amid a corruption scandal in the energy sector. However, part of the “Servant of the People” faction expressed support for creating a national resilience coalition, which was refuted by David Arakhamia, the faction leader.
It remains unclear what decisions will be made, but Zelensky emphasized the importance of every employee working for the benefit of Ukraine.
