New phase of the “eSupport” program: how to receive 1000 UAH this winter
The government of Ukraine has announced the launch of the winter “eSupport” program, which provides for a one-time payment of 1000 UAH to every citizen. Applications can be submitted from November 15 to December 24, 2025.
Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko stated that the 1000 UAH can be obtained in two ways: through the “Diia” application to the “National Cashback” card or through “Ukrposhta” branches to a special account. The funds can be spent on paying for utilities, purchasing medicines and Ukrainian-made products, postal services, books, charity, and donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These funds can be used until June 30, 2026.
The “eSupport” program aims to provide maximum support to Ukrainians on the eve of winter, to assist in paying utility bills, and to meet basic needs. Last year, 14.4 million Ukrainians used the program, although it was criticized for redirecting funds from other areas such as business support and demining to finance the payouts.
