Ukrainian company “General Cherehnya” and Croatian ORQA have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the production of components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine and abroad. The agreement provides for the creation of an underground factory in Ukraine and joint projects in Croatia.
As part of the partnership, the companies plan to deploy production of UAV components in Ukraine, particularly through the establishment of an underground factory for manufacturing various components and peripherals for UAVs under the Build in Ukraine program. Specialists from both companies will also work on the development of advanced drone technologies in Croatia. The joint series production in Croatia aims for complete localization of component manufacturing in Ukraine and reducing dependency on foreign supplies.
Supporting Ukraine’s technological potential, these projects will also contribute to the rearmament of NATO countries and strengthen the defense capabilities of Ukrainian troops. Co-founder of “General Cherehnya” Yaroslav Gryshyn called the partnership a new stage for the company and the Ukrainian Defense Tech sector. Work on production has already begun.
Recall that in March 2026, “General Cherehnya” announced a strategic partnership with American company Wilcox Industries Corp. As part of this cooperation, the launch of joint production of FPV drones and interceptor drones in the USA is planned.
