Ukraine and the UAE will establish agri-hubs to improve export logistics of goods
Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to create agri-hubs that will receive Ukrainian products for further packaging and distribution to countries in need of food aid.
On November 20, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported that during the Food from Ukraine conference, Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotsky discussed with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sultan Al Shamsi the creation of new agri-hubs in the UAE. These hubs will collect Ukrainian products for further delivery to regions critically in need of food, including Gaza, Sudan, Kenya, and Somalia.
The introduction of agri-hubs is expected to optimize logistics and increase the efficiency of food delivery to those most in need. According to Taras Vysotsky, Ukraine has long been an important player in global food security despite the challenging situation with the war and Russia’s attempts to block exports. Since 2022, over 40% of Ukrainian grain has been exported to Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Ukraine offers not only food but also technologies and production models to ensure long-term stability. This strengthens economic relations between participating countries. Since the start of the 2025/2026 marketing year, Ukraine has exported over 5 million tons of grain.
| Country | Designated Products |
