Kharkiv suffered a massive drone attack: the number of injured increased to 46 people
On the night of November 19, Kharkiv was attacked by drones, resulting in 46 people being injured, including children and a doctor. Residential buildings and city infrastructure sustained significant damage.
According to reports from the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the city council, and the State Emergency Service, 24 ‘Geran-2’ drones, as well as several other types, were launched at the city. Forty-six people were injured, including 9 and 13-year-old children; six people were hospitalized. Near a medical facility, a doctor was injured.
During the attack, 16 apartment buildings, 31 vehicles, a garage cooperative, a supermarket, service and administrative buildings, and a school were damaged. In one of the high-rise buildings, 48 people, including three children, had to be evacuated due to smoke.
This attack is one of the largest on Kharkiv in recent times, once again highlighting the danger posed by the ongoing Russian military presence in the region. Experts warn of potential repeats of such attacks, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the protection of civilian objects.
