Ukrainian troops regroup positions in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions
The Ukrainian armed forces have regrouped their units, withdrawing from Novovasylivske in the Zaporizhzhia region to new positions to optimize defense.
The military notes that Russian forces have not reduced the intensity of their assault actions in Zaporizhzhia and the southern Dnipropetrovsk region. Over the last day, nearly 40 combat clashes were recorded in the Oleksandrivske and Huliaipilske directions, as well as over 350 shellings using more than 1500 munitions. Meanwhile, Russian losses amounted to about 300 troops and 58 units of equipment.
According to representatives of the southern defense forces, the withdrawal of troops from Novovasylivske and other settlements took place in connection with the regrouping of combat orders and changing the configuration of combat engagements to preserve the lives of servicemen. These measures are intended to support blocking enemy advancement in the region.
On November 6, Ukrainian forces dismissed reports of the occupation of six settlements in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. However, on November 11, they confirmed a withdrawal from positions near Novouspenivske, Novoho, Okhotnyche, Uspenivka, Novomykolaivka.
