Powerful explosions were heard in Donetsk: a strike on an ammunition depot is reported

A large explosion occurred in occupied Donetsk: a probable attack on an ammunition depot.

On the evening of November 5, explosions were heard in Donetsk, likely as a result of an attack on an ammunition depot of Russian forces. The event caused a fire and a series of secondary detonations.

The explosions began around 9:00 PM, with the exact source unknown. Journalist Denys Kazansky believes there was a missile strike on a large ammunition depot. However, there are no official confirmations from either side of the conflict. The occupation administration’s leadership had not commented on the incident at the time of the report, and Russian propagandists only noted that it was “loud.”

Local residents share video recordings of the powerful explosion on social media. The footage shows flashes of a large fire that were visible from a long distance. It is noted that secondary detonations were heard for a long time.

This incident is not the first in Donetsk in recent months. Earlier, on September 8, explosions hit the “Topaz” plant in occupied city. On October 11, a fire occurred during a drone attack aimed at the area near the former “Ashan.” Ongoing tensions in the region highlight the complexity of the situation and the risks to the civilian population.
