“Nova Poshta” implements a decentralized model to improve logistics
The company “Nova Poshta” has decided to switch to a decentralized sorting model and implement backup shipment processing systems to adapt to wartime conditions. This is intended to help maintain reliable delivery.
According to company representatives, the new work organization model will allow for more efficient protection of clients’ shipments and ensure delivery stability. Nevertheless, “Nova Poshta” does not disclose reorganization details, including information about backup routes and location of facilities, to protect the safety of employees and clients.
Currently, the “Nova Poshta” network in Ukraine consists of over 56,000 service points, including branches, parcel terminals, and courier delivery. The status and movement of each shipment can be tracked via the company’s mobile app.
The company “Nova Poshta” has been seriously affected by the war. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, its losses have exceeded 1 billion hryvnias, and in just the first four months of 2026, the company lost 325 million hryvnias due to Russian shelling. Last year, 1,280 branches ceased operations, some of them due to the approaching frontlines. To determine the safety of each branch, the company maintains communication with local authorities and regional administrations.
One of the most vulnerable events was the destruction of the sorting center in Kyiv on the night of August 5, 2026, during a Russian attack that led to the death of three people and injury of eight employees.
