Massive Missile and Drone Attack by Russia on Kyiv Region Leads to Destruction and Casualties

During the night of November 14, Russia launched one of the most powerful attacks on Kyiv and the surrounding region, using missiles and drones. This resulted in significant destruction and a series of fires in the area.

As a result of the combined strike by Russian forces on critical infrastructure in Kyiv and its region, as well as residential areas, several districts were affected. According to Kyiv’s Regional Administration Head, Mykola Kalashnyk, Bucha, Vyshhorod, Fastiv, and Obukhiv districts were hit. A warehouse facility was damaged in the Bila Tserkva district. Ten buildings in the Bucha district and 14 in the Vyshhorod district were damaged, and vehicles were also affected. Among the injured were six people, including a seven-year-old child.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that during the attack, “Kalibr” cruise missiles, “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles, “Iskander-M”/KN-23 ballistic missiles, and strike drones were used. The main targets of the attack were energy facilities located within Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

Notably, in the Bila Tserkva district, a 55-year-old man was hospitalized with burns, while in the Vyshhorod district, two men were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries. All the injured are receiving necessary medical care.

This incident is part of a broader escalation by Russia aimed at targeting infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. Previously, on November 10, a similar strike was made on the Dnipropetrovsk region, where a church and bank were the targets, and on November 12, “Ukrzaliznytsia” facilities were hit.
