Google expands Personal Intelligence features in the search engine for more personalized responses
Google is updating its search engine functionality by adding Personal Intelligence capabilities in AI Mode. With this feature, users will be able to connect their Gmail and Google Photos accounts for personalized responses.
Users who join Google AI Pro and Ultra will be able to integrate their own data, including email and photos, to create personalized search recommendations. The system, using the Gemini 3 model, will analyze information such as reservations from Gmail or snapshots from Google Photos to suggest routes or places that match the user’s interests.
This feature will allow, for example, the system to suggest ice cream cafes if the user frequently photographs with such a dessert or provide clothing recommendations based on favorite brands, weather conditions, and travel plans.
Google emphasizes that data integration is voluntary and can be disabled at any time. The company also assures that the content of the mailbox and photo library will not be used for training AI models. However, developers warn of potential errors due to the experimental nature of the feature.
It has been a few years since the launch of the feature in the Gemini chatbot in January 2026. This innovation demonstrates Google’s further commitment to increasing AI’s impact on everyday services and highlights the importance of an experimental approach to innovation in the IT sector.
