German ARX Robotics and Ukrainian Roboneers are joining forces to create a joint venture, ARX Industries, which will be engaged in the production of ground robotic systems.
During the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk, an agreement was signed to establish ARX Industries. This new joint venture will be part of the Build with Ukraine initiative. In its first year of operation, the company plans to release several thousand units of the NRK “Rys Pro” with a subsequent increase in production.
The production of the “Rys Pro” system, which will be located in Ukraine and Germany, is intended to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. These systems will be used for evacuating the wounded, delivering cargo and medicines, as well as for performing engineering tasks, including mining and demining.
Roboneers, founded in 2014, is the result of a merger of various engineering and IT teams. They specialize in developing unmanned aerial vehicles, remote control modules, and other technologies. Among their products are the Ironclad and Camel systems, the combat module “Shablya,” and the Outpost system.
ARX Robotics, a European company specializing in unmanned systems, has already integrated its technologies into the armies of several European countries. Thanks to ARX technologies, including the AI-based Mithra OS, ground forces are being modernized, and “smart” units are being formed.
| Year | Number of “Rys Pro” Units |
