On the Diia.Education platform, an AI mentor has been launched to improve learning processes
The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the launch of an AI mentor on the Diia.Education platform. This digital advisor is designed to ease learning processes by helping users understand complex terms and create summaries.
The AI mentor, developed based on the Gemini language model, operates within specific educational products and aims to explain terms, summarize content, and highlight key ideas of lessons. As stated by the Adviser to the Minister of Digital Transformation Valeria Ionan, this innovation is intended to shorten the path from acquiring knowledge to gaining skills.
According to the Ministry, a significant portion of the population still does not understand how and why to learn. If in 2019, 9% of people were in this category, by 2025, their share increased to 18%. The introduction of the mentor aims to overcome this barrier by providing more personalization to the learning process.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to launch another AI implementer, which will help users select the necessary materials from the platform’s educational products. This became possible thanks to the further development of AI technologies in Ukraine, including the implementation of five AI assistants on the “Diia.Business” portal, which help entrepreneurs find solutions for developing their businesses.
| Year | Percentage of people who do not understand how to learn |
|---|---|
| 2019 | 9% |
| 2025 | 18% |
