Coursera and Udemy Announce $2.5 Billion Merger
Coursera and Udemy have officially confirmed plans to merge, valuing the deal at $2.5 billion. According to the agreements, the acquisition will be executed through a stock exchange, with the deal completion expected in the second half of 2026.
The news of the merger between Coursera and Udemy comes as a response to the challenging market conditions currently faced by both platforms. Despite revenue growth in the third quarter of 2025, the decline in stock prices indicates reduced investor confidence in their independence.
