The State Statistics Service launched a portal with an AI assistant for data analysis
A new digital portal of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine was presented in Kyiv, featuring the integration of the StatGPT artificial intelligence assistant to enhance access to statistical data.
The new State Statistics Service portal, created as part of the agency’s digital transformation, aims to facilitate access to statistical data necessary for scientific research, public administration, and business analysis. A key feature is the AI assistant StatGPT, which is capable of responding to user queries in either Ukrainian or English. It allows users to quickly obtain the necessary statistical information and export it in formats such as Excel, CSV, and others.
StatGPT uses the international SDMX standard, ensuring a high degree of compatibility with data from global statistical institutions, including Eurostat, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. This supports the integration of Ukrainian statistics into the global ecosystem, which can positively impact international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
The project was developed with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The international company EPAM acted as a digital transformation partner.
The previous State Statistics Service website will be available to users until mid-2026, but data updates will be conducted exclusively on the new portal.
