The Defense Forces Disrupt Russian Troops’ Logistics Paths Near Pokrovsk
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have resorted to airstrikes to disrupt the logistics of Russian troops near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. A road connecting Selydove and Pokrovsk was destroyed, complicating the movement of the opponent.
The 7th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported successful airstrikes that led to the destruction of a road used by Russian troops to penetrate Pokrovsk with light vehicles. In addition, Ukrainian units continue to strengthen engineering barriers in other sections of the front that the occupying forces are attempting to clear.
A recent incident with the penetration of a Russian convoy into the city, occurring under conditions of dense fog, created complications for Ukrainian drones. Currently, more than 300 Russian troops are present in Pokrovsk, trying to break through to the northern borders of the city, but control over the city has not been established, as stated by General Stanislav Syrskyi.
Overall, the situation in the Pokrovsk area remains tense, but Ukrainian military efforts are being made to control the territory and prevent the advancement of Russian troops.
