The Polish police are investigating threats against Nawrocki

In Poland, a threat to kill President Karol Nawrocki is being investigated

The Polish police have begun an investigation following a death threat aimed at President Karol Nawrocki appearing on social media.

The incident occurred following the Poland-Netherlands match, which took place on Friday, November 14. In a photo taken during the match, an unknown person left a comment with an image of a gun and the caption: “See you soon, Karol.” The post was quickly removed, but its fragments are still circulating online.

Warsaw police immediately responded to the report, initiating an investigation. Authorities discovered that the photo of the gun had been used previously in different contexts on various platforms. The investigation is in its early stages, and no details about potential suspects have been disclosed yet.

Karol Nawrocki, who became the President of Poland on August 6, has already attracted international attention, particularly with his statements regarding Polish-Ukrainian relations. On November 12, he emphasized that Poland would not prioritize Ukrainian interests over its own, stressing the importance of partnership relations between the two countries.

Experts note that threats of this nature only heighten political tensions and call for serious measures to ensure the safety of political leaders. Given the current political situation in the region, such incidents are significant for the country’s stability.
