Black Forest Systems has completed a funding round, raising €450,000.
Black Forest Systems announced the successful completion of a financial round, resulting in raising €450,000. An additional €175,000 was invested by the fund Front Ventures, which interestingly, will support this startup for the second time in recent months.
The team plans to use the funds to accelerate the development of current products, expand the workforce, and increase production capacities. Black Forest Systems, founded in 2024, specializes in developing unmanned systems that help infantry units operate drones without special training. The main goal, according to CEO Oleksandr Davydenko, is to shift the complexity of management from the operator to the technology itself.
The investment company Front Ventures was founded in 2012 in Sweden. It initially specialized in the fintech sector, corporate software, and blockchain but later shifted its strategic focus to defense technologies. In Front Ventures’ portfolio, there are several well-known startups, including Black Forest Systems, SkyHunter, and others. To enhance its presence in the Ukrainian market, in March 2026, the company opened an office in Lviv under the leadership of lawyer Nazar Shestopalov, who will be responsible for import, export, and obtaining permits.
This step could open up new opportunities for the development of innovations in the defense sector, strengthen communication with authorities, and support the strategic interests of companies in Ukraine.
