The Ministry of Defense has codified the first Ukrainian drone remote control system.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified the remote control drone system according to NATO standards.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially codified the Hornet Vision Ctrl system, developed by the company “Diki Shershni,” which became the first in Ukraine to undergo this procedure according to NATO standards. The system allows remote control of drones from anywhere in the world.

The Hornet Vision Ctrl system includes a ground control station, a digital video system, and equipment for remote operator connection. It is compatible with all “Diki Shershni” drones, such as the Sting interceptor drones and the Wild Hornets Digital 10″ anti-aircraft drones. Ukrainian operators actively use this technology, having destroyed, according to the company, over 600 aerial targets, including Shahed-type drones.

Due to the integration of a special control module via the Starlink satellite channel, operators manage to remotely control drones even at a distance of over 2000 km. This approach significantly enhances operator safety by placing them in secure zones, reducing the risk of radio interference. The system also demonstrates efficiency in logistical tasks on the front line.

The use of remote control technologies represents an important step in the development of Ukraine’s defense potential and integration within the framework of NATO standards. This technology not only ensures operator safety but also optimizes battlefield resources.

The “Shahedoriz” project, within which the Hornet Vision Ctrl was created, is implemented with the support of the “Sternenko Community.” The drones and control system of “Diki Shershni” are used in over 100 units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Systems Drones Control Distance
Hornet Vision Ctrl Sting, Wild Hornets up to 2000 km
Vampire Hexacopters up to 1100 km
