Interactive AI – as the latest stage in the interaction of technology and education
Interactive artificial intelligence becomes an important stage in the development of technology, capable not only of generating content but also of interacting with the user, assisting in learning, and developing critical thinking.
With the development of artificial intelligence technologies, new prospects for its use in the field of education have emerged. Interactive AI not only generates responses but interacts with the user, helping to understand tasks, detect mistakes, and perform subsequent steps. Unlike traditional chatbots, which interact only through text messages, interactive AI can use avatars, the Inworld AI platform, Convai, and even respond to weak signals from a brain-computer interface.
Experiments with interactive AI have already yielded positive results in educational programs. For example, in the Socratic AI Tutor study, students from Germany noted improvements in critical thinking due to working with an interactive AI tutor. In a similar experiment at Stanford, Tutor CoPilot assisted tutors in the educational process by offering hints and encouraging students to independently solve problems.
It is expected that interactive AI will become widely used between 2026 and 2030. This approach involves the comprehensive integration of agents, behavioral signals, and context to improve interaction between humans and AI.
| Technology | Field of Application | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Interactive AI | Education | Learning assistance, critical thinking |
| Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) | Interaction | Adaptation to user state |
| Socratic AI Tutor | University Education | Tutoring, developing critical thinking |
| Tutor CoPilot | School Education | Tutor support, educational hints |
