“Nova Poshta” invests 6 million crowns in expanding its logistics network in the Czech Republic
“Nova Poshta” plans significant investments amounting to 6 million Czech crowns for the development of its logistics infrastructure in the Czech Republic, including the opening of new terminals and the implementation of innovative logistics services.
The company announced that the investments will be focused on scaling the network, which involves opening new terminals, depots, branches, and launching 30 partner mini-branches. As part of the development strategy, Nova Post also plans to pilot innovative logistics services such as delivery 7 days a week, guaranteed next-day delivery, pickup of shipments within an hour, and handling oversized parcels.
Particular attention is given to improving customs logistics. A customs warehouse in the Czech Republic with a throughput capacity of over 25,000 shipments per month enables significantly faster processes through consolidation. The company notes that their warehouse operates around the clock, which is an advantage over local brokers and allows for storing goods without customs clearance for up to 90 days. A similar facility is planned to be opened in Germany.
Regarding the US market, where Nova Post already operates in partnership with UPS, the company continues to expand its network through partner hubs and is preparing to launch a backup hub in Miami. The “Easy Franchise” model, planned to be launched in the US, will enable rapid development without significant infrastructure costs.
In the future, Nova Post plans to expand into the European and North American markets, analyzing the markets of Canada and China for potential cooperation expansion.
