Ukrainian Company Attracts Investments for Defence Technology Development
The Ukrainian defense technology company The Fourth Law has received investments from the American technology group Axon, which operates in the field of public safety. This financial influx will help accelerate the development of artificial intelligence for interceptor drones.
Founded in Kyiv in 2023, The Fourth Law specializes in developing solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics with a focus on defense and public safety. The latest product is the “TFL-Antishakhed” module that uses artificial intelligence to detect and track strike drones. The system can autonomously recognize drones by analyzing thermal imaging and other parameters.
The company’s founder and CEO, Yaroslav Azhniuk, emphasized the importance of this agreement for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and believes that the funding will assist in developing new autonomy capabilities for protecting cities and critical infrastructure from Shahed-type drone threats.
Axon, with whom the agreement has been made, began its activities with the aim of rethinking conflicts in law enforcement and has turned into a global company dealing with issues of public, corporate, and national security.
This collaboration with Axon could become a catalyst for further expanding drone technologies that can ensure security at strategic sites.
