Ukrainian technology company Fire Point may sell 30% of its shares
The Ukrainian company Fire Point, known for manufacturing drones and the Flamingo rocket, is considering selling a portion of its shares. The buyer could be the defense group EDGE from the United Arab Emirates.
According to BBC Ukraine, Fire Point is set to sell 30% of its shares, which are valued at approximately 760 million dollars. Thus, the overall valuation of the company is around 2.5 billion dollars. Currently, Fire Point has already submitted all the necessary documents to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to obtain official permission for the deal. AIN publication is awaiting an official comment from Fire Point and is ready to publish additional details as soon as they receive responses from the committee.
In earlier stages, Fire Point had announced its intention to sell a stake to a foreign sovereign fund, but did not specify the details of the deal. Sources indicate that the buyer could be the EDGE defense group, which belongs to the UAE sovereign fund.
