Startup of the Day: A42 — a data monitoring platform

Ukrainian startup A42 provides automatic cybersecurity for businesses

Ukrainian startup A42 has introduced a platform that automatically monitors cyber threats for companies, preventing data breaches and vulnerabilities.

A42 is an innovative platform that provides automated external perimeter protection for companies by monitoring domains, subdomains, and open services. The founders of the startup are Olga Nasibullina and Serhiy Saraichykov, who have been working in the field of cybersecurity for over 10 years. The platform allows early detection of cyber threats before they are exploited by attackers, minimizing attack risks.

The process of working with A42 begins with registration on the site and adding a domain for verification. After that, an automated scan is performed, which provides a clear and concise report with a classification of vulnerabilities by levels of criticality. Reports are directed to technical teams for prompt response to identified shortcomings.

The SaaS subscription model allows clients to use the platform’s services monthly, semi-annually, or annually. New users are offered a 14-day free trial to evaluate the functionality. The startup is actively moving towards AI-based pentests, allowing regular cybersecurity checks using artificial intelligence.

The idea of creating A42 came after testing different hypotheses and receiving positive feedback from experts, which led to a fully-fledged product on the market. The founders invested $150,000 of their own funds into its development. The startup is open to attracting additional investment for further development.

A42’s competitors are Detectify, Project Discovery, Tenable, and Aikido Security. A distinguishing feature of the product is the automatic detection of all subdomains, making their solution safer and more optimized for clients. The startup’s success is confirmed by winning the EIT Founders2Founders program and participating in the TOP-30 Defense startups at IT Arena 2025 in Lviv.
