A Cloudflare system outage caused disruptions in numerous online services
A large-scale outage in the Cloudflare system temporarily knocked out popular websites and online services, including Canva, Zoom, and LinkedIn. The company is investigating the causes and scope of the incident.
Cloudflare, a provider that ensures the speed and security of internet connections for a vast number of sites, reported a major failure on its official website. Besides well-known services like Perplexity and major platforms, large investment and trading services, including Groww, Zerodha Kite, Upstox, and Angel One, were also affected.
Experts note that regular outages observed in Cloudflare may impact client trust, as this is the second major incident in the past month. On November 18, a similar issue resulted in the inaccessibility of resources, including the popular ChatGPT and several other services. At that time, the outages were linked to an internal error in the database system.
Cloudflare is considered a key player in the internet services market, and any disruptions in its operations can have broad implications, especially for platforms reliant on connection stability. Specialists emphasize that such incidents highlight the importance of backup plans for businesses to mitigate risks during similar technological failures.
