Ukraine and the USA agreed on round-the-clock cooperation on the path to peace
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine and the USA, together with European partners, will work on implementing an effective path to peace. He stated this after negotiations with US Vice President Jay D. Vance and US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll.
The meeting lasted almost an hour, during which the details of the American side’s proposals regarding the cessation of the war were discussed. Zelensky emphasized the importance of creating effective conditions for lasting peace and expressed gratitude for the support from the USA and European partners. The President also noted that Ukraine agrees to constant communication with its allies, and the teams are ready to work 24/7 to achieve this goal.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine, as before, respects President Donald Trump’s desire to “end the bloodshed” and is open to any implemented proposition aimed at the peaceful resolution of the conflict. At the same time, the president stated that Ukraine will not make loud statements regarding the peace plan, instead calmly working on finding constructive solutions with partners.
It is worth adding that amid these talks, Trump confirmed that Ukraine must agree to the proposed plan to end the full-scale war by November 27. According to analysts, this cooperation is an important step toward forming stable conditions for ending the conflict on terms favorable to all parties.
