At the conference on the recovery of Ukraine in Gdansk, agreements worth over 10 billion euros will be signed.
The Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine (URC 2026) in Gdansk will serve as a platform for signing 160 agreements worth over 10 billion euros, informed the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyrydenko.
Yuliya Svyrydenko, speaking at the opening of the conference on Thursday, June 25, emphasized that this event is significant for Ukraine, with its main priorities being security, energy resilience, private sector development, and attracting investment. The conference became a platform for gathering resources across five key areas: European integration, human capital, business, regional and local development, and defense — the latter being presented for the first time.
According to information shared by Svyrydenko on her Telegram channel, over 80 Ukrainian companies and about 2,000 representatives of international business will take part in the business fair of the platform. The event will also present a new format of the Energy Platform, which will become a permanent tool for mobilizing international support for the Ukrainian energy sector.
The conference is expected to become an important stage in strengthening the Ukrainian defense industry, which has already proven its effectiveness on the battlefield and contributes to the enhancement of European security. As noted by Svyrydenko, the recovery of Ukraine is an investment in a strong Europe, and therefore it is important to strengthen the country’s defense potential.
Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelensky will not be present at the conference. The delegation from Ukraine is headed by the Prime Minister. We remind you that amidst a diplomatic scandal involving the Polish President Karol Nawrocki, a number of refusals of Polish awards from the Ukrainian side were noted.
