Payments to participants of the National Cashback have been delayed due to exceeding the expected number of applications, however, the program has not been stopped. Ukraine’s Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev promised that all payments for August will be made within the next week.
The Minister of Economy, commenting on the situation for the agency “Interfax-Ukraine”, explained that the payments are delayed only due to technical approval procedures. It is expected that all recipients will receive the funds in full, and the payment process for September will begin soon.
Oleksiy Sobolev noted that the number of participants in the program exceeded government forecasts. According to him, payments for August will be the largest since the beginning of the National Cashback’s activity. He also emphasized the importance of this program, which actively supports Ukrainian production. The minister noted a large number of requests for the continuation and expansion of the program, especially concerning other types of products.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 2.4 billion UAH from the reserve fund for payments under the National Cashback program. In addition, 200 million UAH will be directed to compensate the cost of Ukrainian industrial equipment. Earlier, Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax, and customs policy, assessed the potential growth of the program, emphasizing its significance for the country’s economic development.
