Ukrainian aviation struck Russian occupants who installed the Russian flag in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, on November 5. This was reported by the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kost Hordienko.
According to the military, the occupants shot a propaganda video in the Rubizhne residential area, where they installed the tricolor on one of the buildings. After filming, the Russians gathered in a neighboring building, which did not go unnoticed by Ukrainian military forces. Ukrainian aviation struck at the concentration of occupants, which is yet another confirmation of the irresponsibility of the Russian command that sends its people on dangerous missions.
Vovchansk, located in the north of the Kharkiv region, is currently partially controlled by Ukrainian forces, with part of the city located in the so-called gray zone. According to the Deepstate project, control over the city is partially divided between the conflicting sides.
The events in Vovchansk are part of a broader counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region. On November 3, President Zelensky announced the presence of about 60 Russian occupants in Kupiansk, where clearing operations are ongoing.
