StackBob presented an AI-based cybersecurity solution
Ukrainian startup StackBob, specializing in cybersecurity, has created a platform for managing access and licenses using artificial intelligence. The startup has already received $100,000 in funding from Google for Startups and will represent Ukraine at the Web Summit 2025.
Founded by Oleh Shved and Yaroslav Rozum, StackBob offers solutions for automated employee access management within companies. The platform allows integration of any applications, including corporate systems, cloud platforms, and familiar tools such as Jira or Slack.
One of StackBob’s unique features is the use of AI agents, which can connect even to those services that do not support standard integrations. This allows enterprises to more efficiently manage access and licenses, avoiding “shadow” IT tools, optimizing subscription costs, and ensuring data security.
The startup operates on a B2B SaaS model, where the subscription cost depends on the number of users in a company. StackBob has also completed SOC 2 Type II certification, guaranteeing data encryption and protection.
The development of the MVP took the team about a month, but it took three years to refine the technology to its current state. Initially, the main idea of the startup was to optimize working with APIs, but market analysis revealed a more pressing issue with uncontrolled software within companies.
StackBob competes with major market players like Okta and EntraID, but unlike them, offers affordable solutions for small and medium businesses (SMB). According to Gartner forecasts, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) market is growing annually, and the SMB segment is becoming a new platform for potential expansion.
Currently, StackBob provides cybersecurity for over 5,000 users in 50 companies worldwide. By participating in major conferences like the Web Summit, the startup aims to expand its presence in the international market further.
