Russian attacks on gas stations: important statement from the government

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced the strengthening of security at gas stations in frontline regions.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced additional measures to enhance the security of gas stations in areas threatened by Russian attacks, noting that there is no fuel shortage.

Under the leadership of Yulia Svyrydenko, the Cabinet of Ministers held a coordination meeting with oil market operators, during which the supply of fuel under constant threats from Russia was discussed. The Prime Minister emphasized the priority importance of ensuring the fuel infrastructure in frontline regions, noting that the current fuel reserves are sufficient for the needs of citizens, businesses, security forces, and critical infrastructure.

Svyrydenko stressed that a set of decisions aimed at uninterrupted fuel supply is already being implemented. Particular attention is paid to ensuring security at gas stations in regions most frequently subjected to shelling. Against this background, Kharkiv mayor Igor Terekhov assured that, despite Russian strikes, there have been no disruptions in fuel supply in the city.

The government’s efforts are aimed at protecting the fuel infrastructure and ensuring the stability of supplies, which is critically important in wartime conditions. Experts believe that such measures will help reduce risks and guarantee safety for the population.
