Nine DefTech startups received grants after completing the third stage of the Defence Builder Accelerator program.

Ukrainian and European startups received funding in the third batch of the Defence Builder Accelerator

As a result of the third batch of the Defence Builder Accelerator program, nine startups received grant support. After four months of testing with military units, the funding reached up to $65,000 per team.

After successfully completing work in the accelerator, all nine teams received $10,000 each. Some of the startups, such as Fremen, WingTech, Frost Works, and UMP, received additional support from the Defence Builder Accelerator and partners — from $20,000 to $30,000. Additionally, the teams WingTech, Trident, NEBOSTRAZH, and Frost Works were allocated an additional $25,000 by the defense company “General Chereshnya”.

Each of the teams worked on unique developments that could significantly change the defense industry. For example, Trident Group created an autonomous targeting system for drones that is capable of tracking and hitting a target even in case of loss of communication. WingTech is developing a drone with a range of up to 600 km without the need for GPS. Frost Works focused on an early warning system for air threats, while Fremen proposed a compact self-defense module for drones.

The Defence Builder Accelerator program, founded in 2024, has already supported more than 25 startups, and the total valuation of participants in the first two batches exceeded $100 million. Its mission is to accelerate businesses, test developments with the military, and prepare companies for entry into international markets, which is crucial for the development of defense technologies in modern conditions.

Team Funding
Fremen $30,000
WingTech $20,000
Frost Works $20,000
UMP $20,000
WingTech, Trident, NEBOSTRAZH, Frost Works $25,000 each from “General Chereshnya”
