Ukrainian companies impressed at Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris
The international defense and security exhibition Eurosatory 2026 concluded in Paris, bringing together over 2000 participants from more than 60 countries. Ukrainian companies showcased significant achievements in the field of defense technologies, particularly in the direction of unmanned systems and anti-drone measures.
A notable event at the exhibition was the proximity of the Ukrainian national pavilion to Airbus Defence & Space, symbolizing the transformation of Ukraine’s defense industry over the years of war. Ukrainian companies actively presented solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and the integration of the latest systems with traditional defense technology. The anti-drone systems attracted special attention, where Ukraine demonstrated the largest number of solutions on the market.
According to Valery Krasovskyi, CEO of Sigma Software Group, the presentation by the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry made a significant impression, marking real production cooperations between Ukraine and European states such as Germany and France. Such collaborations are creating a new defense ecosystem in Europe, in which Ukraine plays an important role.
Research conducted together with the KSE Institute and Brave1 shows that the volume of the Ukrainian DefTech market in 2025 will amount to $6.8 billion, with a significant portion of purchases made through volunteer funds and direct contracts. The UAV market is estimated at $6.3 billion, and the land robotics segment has grown sixfold over the year, reaching $252 million.
Ukrainian companies such as Buntar Aerospace and MaXon Systems are actively developing the latest technologies, including autonomous systems and solutions for intercepting aerial targets. Over 25 DefTech companies have already passed through the Defence Builder ecosystem, confirming the rapid growth and development of Ukraine’s defense sector.
Today, Ukrainian companies are leaders in many areas of defense technologies, and this success was clearly reflected at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition.
