Ukrainian Frontline Robotics and Estonian Milrem Robotics unite for defense development
The Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics and Estonian Milrem Robotics signed a memorandum of cooperation at the international defense exhibition Eurosatory 2026 in Paris. The new agreement aims to expand joint projects in the field of robotic systems aimed at combating drones.
The partnership between the companies began with the integration of the “Burya” combat system from Frontline Robotics onto the unmanned ground platform THeMIS, developed by Milrem Robotics. They now plan to integrate other Ukrainian developments, such as remotely controlled combat modules and anti-drone systems. In particular, the companies will focus on creating mobile anti-drone complexes based on robots that will work effectively under threats from FPV-type drones.
Frontline Robotics, specializing in robotic systems for the Ukrainian armed forces, and Milrem Robotics, which produces unmanned ground vehicles, plan to promote their developments not only in Europe but also in the markets of the Middle East and South Asia.
At the Eurosatory exhibition, an agreement was also reached between Frontline Robotics and the Ukrainian-Danish company Dropla. Within this cooperation, they plan to develop AI-based solutions for threat identification on the battlefield and to enhance robotic technology.
