The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented the new TrophyLab platform for studying Russian weapons.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the launch of the TrophyLab platform, which will provide access to research and analytics of captured Russian equipment, potentially significantly enhancing the country’s defense capabilities.
The key goal of the TrophyLab platform is to provide detailed information on Russian weapons for further study and the development of effective countermeasures. The platform is based on data collected from equipment seized by Ukrainian forces since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that the platform gathers information through the combined efforts of the military, scientific institutions, and research centers.
Access to analytical materials and technical documentation will be granted to Ukrainian defense technology manufacturers, military units, scientific institutions, and international partners. This will allow developers in various countries to study Russian missiles and other weapon samples in more detail, significantly contributing to the creation of new counter-solutions.
Besides working with digital materials, TrophyLab also allows users to request physical examination of trophy equipment. There are several formats of interaction with the equipment: without damage, with disassembly, or with complete destruction of the sample. This approach aims to accelerate the development of technologies against real enemy equipment.
| Intended for | The platform is available for Ukrainian weapon manufacturers, military units, scientific institutions, and international partners. |
| Research formats | Without damage, full disassembly, complete destruction of the sample. |
| Goal | The creation of effective countermeasures and the acceleration of the development of new opposition technologies. |
This initiative is an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, as it will allow the military and scientists to collaborate internationally to address modern challenges.
