Eric and Donald Trump Jr., sons of the former US president, have invested in Powerus, a company specializing in drone manufacturing. Powerus plans to shortly go public on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
The American investment body of the Trump family, American Ventures, along with Unusual Machines, also supported the financing of Powerus. Donald Trump Jr. is a shareholder and advisory board member of Unusual Machines, which produces components for drones.
Powerus plans to make its first public entry through a reverse merger with the holding company Aureus Greenway Holdings. This company is known for its golf courses in Florida. According to Powerus CEO Andrew Fox, this step will provide access to public capital, which will help expand production and acquire other companies.
Over the past six months, Powerus has already acquired three small companies and plans to produce over 10,000 drones monthly. As co-founder Brett Velicovich noted, the company is in talks to purchase Ukrainian drone manufacturers or license their technologies for US production.
Founded in 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida, Powerus manufactures both aerial and marine drones. The company’s development portfolio includes drones for forest fire fighting and devices capable of transporting loads up to 1,000 pounds.
