The United States refutes Iran’s claims of an attack on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier
The United States Central Command officially reported that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier was not harmed by an Iranian attack, contrary to Tehran’s claims. President Donald Trump confirmed the destruction of Iranian military ships.
The US Central Command stated that missiles launched by Iran did not reach their target, and the carrier continued to support operations aimed at securing regional stability. At the same time, the Command noted that a Jamaran-class corvette suffered significant damage and began sinking in the Gulf of Oman.
President Trump announced the destruction of nine Iranian military vessels, emphasizing that “we are coming for the rest.” Additionally, Trump reported significant damage to Iran’s naval infrastructure. The operation also involved strategic B-2 stealth bombers, which struck fortified Iranian missile sites.
As a result of the operation conducted by the United States and Israel on February 28, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed. Alireza Arafi was appointed as acting head of the regime. President Trump expressed readiness to negotiate with Iran’s new leadership.
