In Odesa, servicemen of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) were attacked with tear gas and their vehicles were damaged.

In Odesa, a group of civilians attacked servicemen using tear gas, resulting in the military being taken to the hospital with chemical burns to the eyes. The incident occurred during a military document inspection.

On February 15, in the Kyiv district of Odesa, servicemen of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) were conducting a check of military records. During the escort of a violator of military registration to the district military commissariat, they were attacked by a group of civilians using tear-inducing agents and physical force. As a result, soldiers received various bodily injuries, including chemical burns to the corneas of their eyes, and were hospitalized.

In addition, the attackers damaged a service vehicle and video recording equipment. The TCC noted that the actions of the group in the incident have signs of serious crimes, and the leadership of the military commissariat has already initiated an appeal to the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Such incidents provide aggressors with the opportunity to destabilize the rear, noted the TCC. Any attempts at forcible intervention in mobilization activities and the use of force against servicemen will result in immediate investigation and accountability for participants.

This incident is not an isolated case of violence against the military in Ukraine. Earlier in Lviv, a woman was suspected of shooting at a TCC minibus, and in Kharkiv, a 31-year-old man injured two servicemen with a knife.
