Expert Artem Pyndyk Dismissed from Defence Builder: Conflict Details
Artem Pyndyk, a veteran and expert in defense technologies, announced in his LinkedIn post about his dismissal from the Defence Builder accelerator, along with strong criticism of their strategy.
In his message, Artem Pyndyk emphasized that he had invested a significant part of his reputation and veteran experience in the project. Despite positive collaboration with Line Rindvig, thanks to her volunteer activities, Artem criticized the company’s corporate strategy, particularly the focus on public memorandums instead of startup development. He noted that the company is more concerned with appearances than providing real tools for startups.
The veteran also mentioned issues related to ethical behavior and organizational culture within the company, such as being late for meetings and citing a lack of time as an excuse. At the same time, he decided not to disclose the details of the conflict, sending them to the team as motivation for change.
Defence Builder, in its official statement to AIN, emphasized confidentiality and stressed that the issues about interaction and work results with Artem were openly discussed. It is noted that due to differences in communication styles, it was decided not to continue the cooperation, yet all obligations were fulfilled in full. The company warns that public discussions of internal issues undermine unity and trust in the defense innovation ecosystem.
Currently, Defence Builder is finalizing preparations for the third batch of startups and is working with a team of 15 projects that have already received significant funding.
