In November, Ukrainians significantly increased the import of passenger cars from China, purchasing 3,908 vehicles — 4.8 times more than the same period last year. Most of the vehicles were electric cars, highlighting the growing popularity of eco-friendly transportation in Ukraine.
According to Ukravtoprom, of all the purchased cars, 3,269 were new, which is an increase of 368% compared to last year, and 639 units were used, showing an increase of 415%. The majority of cars from China — 93% — were electric, indicating a significant interest among Ukrainians in future technologies.
The most popular models of new cars were: BYD Leopard 3 with 385 units, VOLKSWAGEN ID.UNYX — 298 units, BYD Song Plus — 289 units, ZEEKR 7X — 221 units, and BYD Sea Lion 06 — 220 units. Among used cars, the leaders were ZEEKR 001 with 87 units, ZEEKR 7X — 41 units, MG ZS — 32 units, BYD Leopard 3 — 30 units, and BYD Yuan Plus — 29 units.
